Five new members will be inducted into the LHS Athletic Wall of Fame Feb. 10 during halftime of the boys basketball game against Green Bay Southwest.
James Boeldt, Dave Dorak, Jack Egan, Tom Herzog and Lauren Lukas are the newest inductees honored by the Manitowoc Lincoln Athletic Department.
Boeldt, a 1952 graduate, lettered in basketball, football and track.
He earned All-Fox River Valley Conference honors in both football and basketball.
Dorak, a 1970 graduate, excelled in football, basketball and track.
He was the WIAA State pole vault champion in 1970 with a height of 13-6.
He competed on the Carthage College football team and once intercepted 11 passes in one season.
Egan, a 1954 graduate, became the first athlete in the state to win back-to-back WIAA State Titles in boys tennis his junior and senior seasons.
He lettered in tennis, football and basketball.
Herzog, a 1955 graduate, was a four sport letter winner in football, basketball, baseball and tennis.
He earned All-FRVC honors in basketball and baseball as a junior and senior.
In 1958, he signed a professional baseball contract with the Milwaukee Braves and in 2001 was inducted into the Lakeshore All Sports Hall of Fame.
Lukas, a 2008 graduate, was a three-time all-state tennis athlete and four-time all-conference honoree.
She amassed 100 career wins and three FRVC titles while qualifying for state all four years of high school.
